Where we've been

Long time no post, but here's what the Welsh boys have been doing....

Jakey has been befriending rodent hitchhikers. He's just too trusting...

Washing off the scabies from the sketchy mouse drifter.

Being sick. In this picture Jakey is like a 102 degree  Mt. Saint Helens, erupting infrequently but with devastating effect on the overweight local townsfolk.

Graham joined the Police Academy and aced the lesson on parallel parking.

Jakey took on a new gig endorsing the power of the bean. However....

...it didn't work out and he went back to driving a yellow cab.

He told me later that while Batman may be a superhero, he is far from a super tipper.

Figaro!

On the serious side - here's why my children are better people than I am. One day last week we went to a concert by the local children's music school. When we arrived it was the music therapy kids portion of the show. The below video was taken while a 10 year old mentally handicapped girl and her teacher played and sang "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus.

In my meaner spirited younger days, you couldn't have served up a bigger comedy meatball than that scenario. As a 35 year old dad, it just made me kind of sad for other parents and grateful for the health of my own kids. To a 1 year old Jakey? It was just a straight up jam.

Great photos.....and Joe, you were funny! Loved Jakey grooving to the music. Our kids make us more
compassionate, empathetic people.
